Tigers. When young Marine Cliff Schroeder arrived in Vietnam in 1968, it never crossed his mind that tigers were something to be concerned about. Cliff Schroeder joined his unit as they were going into Mutter’s Ridge. It was quite a shock. Cliff served in Vietnam for 13 months. Col. Schroeder eventually served in the Balkans and remembers what Albania looked like as he walked up and down the streets alone.
