Ninety-year-old Air Force Veteran Dale Bunsen became active duty in 1953 just as the Korean War was winding down. Sunday Dale shares stories of his duties in air control. He explains that this was during the Cold War and the world was in a very dangerous place. Dale thoroughly enjoyed his duty in Newfoundland and says that “Newfis” are some of the hardest working people he has ever known. Dale also shares experiences of being a boy during WWII.
