Remembering D-Day with Retired Brigadier General Christopher Petty

Retired Brigadier General Christopher Petty breaks down the engagement and battle of D-Day on the eve of it's 75th anniversary.

June 6, 1944 is a date that lives in infamy. D-Day. It’s the day allied forces, commanded by Kansan and future U.S. President, Ike Eisenhower, fought their way onto the beaches of Normandy, France to gain a toehold to free the European continent from the tyranny of Hitler’s evil Nazi regime.  Did you know that Nazi is short for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party? Retired Brigadier General, Chris Petty, founder of Battle Digest, will break down the battle and key things we can learn from D-Day.
