WWII Marine Veteran Al Jennings was just seventeen when he joined the Marines. Because he was not eighteen, his mother and father had to sign a permission slip for him to become a Marine. Sunday Al shares his story regarding the famous WWII Battle of Iwo Jima. Al tells of briefly seeing his brother during the five week long battle. He also shares that two of his brothers briefly met at the earlier WWII Battle of Guadalcanal.
