WWII Army Nurse Leila Morrison arrived on the beaches of Normandy about 30 days after D-Day with just her duffle bag. Leila worked directly behind the front lines trying to save the lives of our soldiers. Leila passed on July 16th, 2022, just a week after her 100th birthday. Sunday we are re-broadcasting an interview recorded in March of 2020. Leila talks about the huge German 88 guns and how she thought they would blow the roof off.
