Wilbur Newton, my father’s cousin, died when the Japanese attacked the United States at Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. This attack drew America into WWII. Wilbur’s body was buried with the remains of other sailors who died when the Battleship Oklahoma sank. Sunday my cousins Jane Perkins and Linda Crumbaker explain that Wilbur’s remains have been identified and we are bringing him home.
