99 year-old WWII B-17 bomber pilot Fred Wiese flew 35 missions over Europe. Sunday Fred talks about some of his missions. He shares his thoughts about Curtis, his co-pilot, who after 30 missions together piloted his own bomber. On Curtis’ 32nd mission, his plane was probably hit by flak and went down. Even after all these years, Fred asks the question, “Why do good guys go down?” Fred also shares the experience of an emergency landing.
