Surface to air missiles certainly got Vietnam Veteran Marine Pilot Nellie Paler’s adrenaline pumping. Sunday Nellie Paler shares stories of his experiences while serving two tours in Vietnam. He explains that aircraft carrier take-offs and landings, particularly night landings, were quite interesting. Flying over North Vietnam was very dangerous and we lost a number of our A-6 fighters during this time.
