During the Vietnam War, the U.S. Army thought that it would be a good idea to have an optometrist on the front lines to help soldiers who wore glasses. Twenty-two year-old Donald Hood, an optometrist, decided to join the Army in 1968. Sunday Trisha Hood shares the story of her husband who passed on in 2012.
