Ret. Major General Joe Arbuckle joined the Army in 1969 as a private. He was deployed to Vietnam in 1972 as an advisor. Sunday General Arbuckle explains the political landscape at that time and describes the Easter offensive by the North Vietnamese in 1972. He notes that we won the war militarily but lost it politically. Wars are begun by politicians, however at that time in America some of the public blamed our warriors for the war.
