Bonnie Carroll and The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
Founder and president of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Bonnie Carroll explains why she founded TAPS.
Since the founding of America, men and women have been willing to give their lives for our country. Founder and president of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Bonnie Carroll explains why she founded TAPS. Her husband, Army Brig.General Tom Carroll, died in a plane crash in 1992. Carroll realized there was not an organization to provide care, welfare, and support to the people who have lost a loved one in military service. She created one.
