WWII Army Veteran Rocco Telese still lives in the house in East Boston where he was born 97 years ago. He was drafted into the Army on July 6, 1943. Telese explains that he spent 45 days in the hospital when the Army gave him a small-pox vaccine. Telese fought in the Battle of Monte Cassino in the Italian Campaign. Telese shares his thoughts on the devastation of war and a better way to solve disagreements between countries.
